Can a Fitbit Inspire track weight lifting?

Hi, I'm new to the Fitbit community as I just bought my first Fitbit.

I've bought Inspire (not HR) and I'm wondering if it can track how many calories are burned from weight lifting? The only options I can see in exercise are run, walk or hike. Is there a way to add weight training to this list?

Thanks.

Hello @laurenryan97 and a warm welcome.  The Inspire does not have the Exercise app, so you must use the LOG function in the Fitbit app.  Sometimes displays are different between iPhones and Android phones.  As an iPhone user, I would:

  • Tap on the Exercise tile
  • Tap on the stopwatch
  • Toggle it to LOG
  • Enter "Weights" in the search field
  • Enter the the correct information in the Starts and Duration.
  • Tap on Add

The other feature you are describing is a feature called MobileRun.  It is a way to track GPS activities when you don't have a GPS connected tracker.  It can only track Walk, Run and Hike.
