Can’t back out to previous screen on my Fitbit Inspire

Recently the side buttons on my Inspire stopped working. I can’t back up to the previous screen. I’ve had suggestions to use some air to blow off the buttons, but that did nothing.

I'd like you to restart your Fitbit Inspire as described in this help article. After this, monitor your Fitbit device and see if the issue gets fixed.

Have retried this numerous times and cannot get it to restart. Attempted to do a factory reset and DID get the smiley face. However, I’m still having the same issue. Once I scroll up to Settings and tap, I can’t back out because the buttons don’t work. After a period of time, my Fitbit goes back to the clock face. I’ve tried changing the clock face as suggested by some - still no buttons working.
