Can't find Inspire HR as an option to be set up

HI Everyone,

I just bought the Inspire HR and would like to set it up and replace my old fitbit. However, when I follow the installation, I don't see my Inspire HR fitbit as an option to select.

How do I set up and replace my old fit bit with teh Inspire HR fitbit?

Inspire HR should be there as an option under 'Set up a Device'.

Which app are trying this from: Android, iPhone, Windows 10 app, fitbit.com dashboard?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

We are having the same problem here. Attempting to set up an Inspire to replace an old Charge, on an existing account. Using the app on a Windows platform. But when the "Add a Tracker" window pops up, "Inspire" is not one of the options. I see Altas, Charges, Ones, etc. but no Inspire.

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

I'm not sure of this, but I seem to remember some device had to be set up from a phone or tablet, then after setup was done, could do all the rest from Windows 10 app.

I'm having the same issue. This is on a mac, running Catalina.

I am on the screen in Fitbit Connect, asking me "Which Fitbit tracker are are you setting up?" My options are, Aria Air, Alta Hr, Alta, Flex 2, Charge 2, Blaze, Surge, Aria, Charge HR, Flex, and some other device I can't scroll down to see what it is.

Neither the Fitbit Inspire HR nor the Fitbit Inspire are appearing as an option and I cannot scroll to see what this mystery device is down lower. The Inspire does not exist as an option to click on.

Yep!  I'm having the same problem.  I'm trying to set up the Inspire HR on a Mac.  I'll send this thing back if I don't get it set up in the next 30 minutes.  This is really frustrating.

I am also unable to set up my HR because there is no option for this product. Unfortunately, I got this over 45 days ago and wasn't able to start setting it up until now. So, I'm screwed. Can't return; wouldn't want to try & sell it or give it away as the recipient would have the same problem. I don't understand why tech support can't test it out themselves and see what all of us are complaining about. With so many comments about HR not showing up, one would think they would be more diligent in trying to identify and fix the problem.

I ended up using a friend's phone to set up my Inspire HR. I talked to two different tech people, and from what they said (or were unable to say), I don't think this is Fitbit's problem. It seems like it might be Apple being stubborn about allowing a competitor's product to work on their systems. I don't have any hard evidence on that, but it makes sense if you think about it. Find a friend who will let you set it up on their phone, and then you can manage your account on your Mac. Good luck.

I was told by tech support that the Inspire is simply not compatible (yet...) with laptop computers, windows or Macs. That I have to use a Smartphone or a tablet. I guess it's my own fault for not having done enough research. Who would have thought that this piece of hardware would be so selective?
