Can't find friends

So, a few days ago I got the Inspire HR and set it up on my phone, which is running android version 9. When all was said and done, I couldn't add friends via contacts, facebook, or email, despite the fact that I know I have contacts and facebook friends with fitbit accounts. When I tried to enter one of said friend's email and add her that way, I got the following message: 

Failed to send Friend request 

[ERROR 403] [URL https://android-cdn-api.fitbit.com/1.1/user/-/friends/invitations] 

(I've checked, that link leads to nothing.) 

I've tried signing out, I've tried clearing the cache, I've tried restarting my phone, I've tried doing all of those things at once. I just downloaded the app, so I know it's completely updated. My phone should be able to handle this. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

@Username_2000 I hope you're doing well! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

 

Let me help you with adding friends to your account and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. It is odd that you can't add your friends. Regarding the Facebook friends try revoking the access from the applications area. Then link the app again to see if you can add friends from there. For adding friends via email try using the website to do this.
