Can’t find other kinds of exercise

I can’t seem to manually add exercise in the app. If I go to the plus by the exercise icon I get the option to register (run, walk, hike) or log exercise, however when I try to search for a type of exercise nothing ever comes up! I’ve tried all different kinds I can think of and that I know the inspire hr should be able to track, in both Swedish and English. All the guides I’ve seen simply say you go to the plus and add the exercise but what do you do when no exercise is available? Is this a bug or am I just doing it wrong?

I suggest rather than manually logging exercise after the fact, using the Exercise App to record it in real time.  From main clock face, scroll up to 'Exercise'; tap that, then scroll up or down to get to the exercise type you want and follow prompts.

This link tells more a bout the Exercise App, and how to change the exercise shortcut options there:

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Oh my f*** god; it’s taken me until now to figure out that the “exercise app” isn’t the same as the exercise thing in the app!! For the love of god Fitbit could you maybe be more clear 😂

@Nightsgrow the exercise for the tracker will be found under the tracker settings.

Have you downloaded your user manual? Found through the below fitbit help link. Tap on the picture of your tracker. Then download manual

This help link will also take you to fitbits searchable, interactive online help guides

I the same issue:( I used to he able to search for exercise (in Spanish) but now it doesn’t work at all. I’d like to be able to log what type I did to have a record of it. The Execrcise app on Fitbit doesn't have too many options and u can only add 5 types or so. Very annoying… (Inspire HR)

Hi everyone. Welcome to the Community Forums @Boguinspain

Thanks for letting me know about the difficulties that you are having to log your exercises. Just to confirm, do you remember since when this started to happen?

If you've not done so, please try the following steps on your iPhone:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Verify if the Fitbit app is already updated.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  5. Try to search for your exercise.

Hope this helps.

While the exercise app may only allow 5 positions, the user has a list of 20 to choose from. See this help doc
