Can't find the maps of my runs

Hi,

I am not able to find the maps of my runs.

I am connecting to phone GPS successfully and wait to start tracking until the connected.  But when I am done and have sync'd I can't see a map of the run.  The feature has worked in the past.

I have read everything in the forums I can find about this.

Is there a problem with my device?  Is this a known bug?

Kay

Please advise.

@KayCHalfer Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!

Let me help you with your GPS data not being saved. This could be due to the app closing due to a battery saving app/feature on your phone. Make sure this isn't the case checking your phone's battery settings. Also check that the app has the necessary permissions. Finally log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in.You can find additional instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.

Ok...you indicating that the gps data wasn't being stored tripped me onto the problem.  The memory on my phone was almost full so I'm going to see if that is the problem.  I will know tomorrow when I go for my next run.

Ok...went on my run this morning.  No gps data, on phone or fitbit.com dashboards.  Plenty of free memory.  All devised amply charged.

Please advise.

Oh...so I had GPS enabled in the app but I I had GPS turned off in the settings on the device.  Geesh.  Had to review the User Manual to figure this out.

So, today I ran with all setup done correctly.  Plenty of free memory on teh phone.  No maps on my phone!  After syncing with online dashboard I could see my morning run, so the gps data is on the fitbit and uploaded to the online dashboard.

Still hoping to get help with why I can't see the maps on my phone.

Thanks

KayC
