The Fitbit doesn't record my runs itself, though it shows me when I start earning Active Minutes. So I try to record them myself afterward. I try to log a past run, go through it and hit 'Log,' but there's nothing there when I back out to the main page.
If I go to the dashboard with a browser on my laptop I can log it, but not only do I not want to do this, I have to remember distance myself and enter it or it deducts all the steps from that time period from my daily total. This is a pedometer; if I enter a time frame can't it calculate the distance traveled in that time? Now I have to remember start and end times and the distance I see on the treadmill, write them all down, go home and log onto my computer to enter them manually.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, logged in and out, removed the Fitbit and re-connected it (which was another hour-long saga). Any ideas? This is only a few months old.
