Can't pair Inspire HR to phone or computer

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have ben given an Inspire HR.

It won't pair with my iPhone or iPad. Have tried everything you recommend here.
A quick look in Community suggests that this is a fairly common problem.

OK, I say, I'll use the cable and go desktop. Let's see fitbit.com/setup ---- ah, a 404!

Have you guys given up?

I think I have a similar problem.  I'm using my Windows 7 desktop PC and FitBit Connect to attempt to setup my new (never used) Inspire HR.  However, the FitBit Connect application doesn't even have Inspire HR listed as a model to select (to start the setup process.)  This is the first forum entry I have seen that is even close to my issue.

@TimInBC @Privacyisfake Welcome! It's good that the community is growing!

Let me help you setting up your Inspire HR and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find troubleshooting instructions for phone and pc here.

Let me know how it goes.

I think you're missing the key component here.  In the Windows desktop app - the FitBit Inspire/Inspire HR is not even in the application.  When you are setting up the FitBit for the first time and it asks to select which FitBit model you have - it is NOT in the application itself.  There is an entire list of FitBits but the Inspire line is not one of them.

And I think I can assume that what you say applies to Mac desktop as well?
It certainly fits with what I’ve seen.
Thanks.
So … I can concentrate on why it wonm’t pair with my iPad or iPhone.

I cant sync my Inspire HR to my Samsung phone. I set it up ok, it synced and now nothing. Not registering any steps etc. When I try to sync it says " device not found". I've tried all the recommendations to no avail. Have I purchased a dud?
