I have been happily using an Inspire HR for several years now. When the software update came out on June 18 I was no longer able to sync to my device.
I am using iOs 16.5.1.
The Bluetooth connection "works". My phone "connects" to my Inspire HR and it shows up in my bluetooth connections list but when I try to "Pair" by entering the 4 digit code shown on the screen of the I-HR, I get a message saying "Sorry, this code isn't valid". "Check again and re-enter the code". This process repeats (4 or 5 times) until the app cancels the setup process.
Thinking it was the I-HR device, I purchased a new Charge 5. I had the same problem.
Thinking it was my phone, I purchased a new Charge 5 for my wife.
Different phone, same iOs version, different Charge 5 device but same connection problem.
I spoke with support at least 3 times and went through the steps of turning the device off and on, turning bluetooth off and on, restarting my phone, reinstalling the app. Nothing works and ultimately support told me to return the charge 5 devices.
But now I would just like my OLD device to work like it did before the June 18 update.
Am I the only one?
Suggestions?
