I have the do not disturb, sleep and dim light all set on off but unfortunately when I am outside I can’t see the time or anything on the screen 

a bit ridiculous after the amount of money spent on it so I can check my steps, heart rate and time and can’t do that

Same here, got an Inspire 2 today and after setting up indoors, it is totally invisible outdoors or even in the garden room we use for exercise as it has a perspex roof.
