Can't see sleep on Today, it show "--"

My sleep time and stages  shows perfectly on my fitbit app...but my sleep time isnt displayed on my inspire hr..the sleep time is darken with "--"

I'll be glad to assist you with the issues with your Inspire HR not showing your sleep on Today.  At this moment we don't have more users reporting similar issues, so let's check the basic information first.

 

What model of phone/device you're using to sync? Please confirm that it is listed here. Also check if your phone and Fitbit app are up to date. Then follow the steps suggested here:

 

  1. Force quit the App and turn off your phone
  2. Open Fitbit App, go to Account (upper right corner) > Delete Fitbit tracker from the Account
  3. Open the Bluetooth Setting on your phone and delete Fitbit tracker from there too
  4. Reboot Bluetooth to make sure tracker is not there
  5. Restart your tracker a couple of times and Access back to Fitbit App > Account to set up your Fitbit Inspire HR back
  6. Turn on notifications
  7. Confirm that your Fitbit is syncing

ive tried that...it dosent work.. like i said..my sleep stages are shown on my fitbit app..but its not shown on my tracker itself

ive found a way to keep it on display..and the only way is..i have to connect my fitbit thru my laptop, and restart it..thats the only way so far..and its so inconvenient ..

I have the same problem. Worked fine until a few days ago, then I started getting sync problems using the Android app (no device found). Eventually it started syncing again, but even though sleep data shows up in the app, the moon icon on the tracker is dim with no stats.

 

Tried all the same troubleshooting steps.

 

I also try to avoid restarting the tracker now because even though the forums say restarting won't reset, it actually reset my tracker the last time and I lost an entire day worth of data.

@keshavvvv__ Thanks for the heads up and for trying the suggested steps. I really appreciate the time you've taken in order to find a temporary fix. I'd like to know which model of phone you were using to sync in the first place. Do you have to restart your Inspire HR every time to sync? I'll be waiting for your response. 

 

@gozomonster I appreciate those details, thanks for all the steps that you've tried until now. What model of Android do you have? Please confirm that your Fitbit app is up to date and follow the syncing steps suggested here: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

 

If  your Fitbit is not showing your sleep information after syncing, please follow these steps:

 

1. Uninstall some apps from your watch

2. Restart Ionic

If you still cannot see Fitbit Today, you can perform a factory reset (note: all music and user installed apps will need to be reinstalled). 

4) Update Firmware

 

Your Fitbit Ionic shouldn't erase your date after the restart, but if you prefer to sync your information before to avoid loosing your information, all your data will be safe on your Fitbit account. Later on you can keep troubleshooting your Fitbit.

I'm using a Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 running the latest version of Android 8.

 

Oh, and I'm using an Inspire HR, not an Ionic. 🙂

 

But as I posted on another thread, for some reason, after this morning's sync, the tracker is now displaying sleep stats.

And now, again, the tracker isn't showing sleep stats.

 

It's an intermittent error with no clear pattern yet. Pretty frustrating.

Having same problem. Only had my Fitbit for 10 days (birthday present) it showed sleep stats for 1st evening and icon has been dim ever since. Very frustrating having to log into app each morning. Can someone please help with this issue? Many thanks.

I updated my fitbit & now can't find my sleep app on my phone.

I have the inspire hr and same thing happened to me. It’s showing on the app but it still won’t show on the Fitbit itself it did a week ago and now it’s just “ - -“ I restarted it and it did nothing.
