I have a Samsung S20 and a Fitbit Inspire HR and recently updated the Fitbit app which I’m finding extremely confusing to navigate, I’ve been a Fitbit user for 10 years. I can not find the section to get WhatsApp notifications on my Fitbit. Help would really be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi there, @Stellakitty. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that you're having difficulties to set up WhatsApp notifications on your Inspire HR. I will do my best to help you with this!
Since you're setting up WhatsApp notification, you'll need to receive a message from the app desired in order for your app to show it as option in your Fitbit notification's section. For example, tell her to send you a WhatsApp, then check your Fitbit app and you'll see that WhatsApp is already an option to be selected. Then do the same with her so she can set up WhatsApp notifications on the watch.
Nevertheless, please note that you can choose 1 app per category. The most common apps for these features are:
However, for "Text Messages" section you can only select your primary text messaging app (that can be WhatsApp, your phone's default Message app or any other). Nevertheless, in "App Notifications" section you can select more apps, for example if you decided that for your primary text messaging app you want it to be WhatsApp, in App Notifications you can enable Messages app.
For more information, see How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

Thank you for your prompt reply. I am unable to locate the section in the Fitbit app that gives me the option to choose WhatsApp as my preferred notification. My Fitbit inspire is showing in my phones Bluetooth settings and it is showing as paired but then says I need an app to use it and I already have the Fitbit app installed on my phone. Any further help would be greatly appreciated. I am using the new Google log in Fitbit app and am finding it extremely difficult to access and navigate as settings are not as easily as accessible, frankly I wish I hadn’t updated it. Thank you

I’ve come to the conclusion that my Fitbit isn’t compatible with my Sunsung Galaxy S20 as it doesn’t want to pair. When I do finally get it to recognise my Fitbit it says I need an app but doesn’t say what. I already have the Fitbit app installed on my phone. My Fitbit syncs with the app but I can not get it to send notifications to my Fitbit, ie WhatsApp messages and incoming phone calls. Is that correct that they are not compatible?
