Can't setup the Inspire HR

My brand new Inspire HR will not set up. I read and tried all suggestions on these posts. I tried to troubleshoot for over 4 hours. I decided to call the help line, and was on hold for 1.5 hours. Then I tried to call again and was on hold for 30 minutes. Tried to online chat, but was waiting at number 38 for over 30

minutes. I'm thinking I may need to return this device if help is that difficult to obtain! Any suggestions?

Let me help you setting up your Inspire HR and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleLets try clearing the bluetooth connection between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.
