I have a new Fitbit Inspire HR (v 20001.63.5).
When I select any exercise option and set any goal, the Fitbit has to connect to the App on my iPhone8 (v 13.3.1) (sometimes it struggles). But the most frustrating is that the great big ‘play’ icon does not respond when I try to start the exercise. I have tried a soft tap, a continuous tap and a tap, tap, tap. Nothing works well. It does respond around 1 in 30 attempts, which is not great when I’m trying to start a bike ride.
Anyone recommend a fix?

@A_Aisha Thanks for stopping by! Sorry for the delay in m y reply.
Let me help you with your with your difficulties starting a bike exercise. This could be due to the tracker trying to get a GPS connection with your phone so go to your Inspire HR settings to disable the GPS option for exercises. You can also restart your tracker by following these instructions.
Let me know how it goes.

I am having the same problem. I have restarted my device, attempted connecting with and without internet, re-downloaded the app. None of the types of exercise will allow me to record. In addition to this my fitbit Inspire HR will no longer hold its charge for more than 10 hrs. Very frustration and disappointment. This is my second fitbit in 3 years after the charge HR died and never turned on again.

Hello,
I am having the same issue and my fitbit is less than a month old. Have you found any solutions to the 'play icon' issue?

I didn’t find a solution so have returned the device and opted for a Huawei instead which fits my needs and responds much better.
