Can't switch off third party notifications on Inspire 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

How do you switch of Third Party App notifications? I have a new Inspire 2 and it has started sending me messages form facebook etc. When I check, it says that I have switched these on (I haven't). The only information I can find says

From your fitbit.com dashboard, click the gear icon then Settings then Applications.
Click Revoke Access to disconnect an app from your account.

When I try to do this, there is no Revoke option.

This is a replacement device (I lost the previous one). I have tried deleting it and reinstalling it, but no joy.

Can anyone help? This is driving me mad.

A warm welcome to the forums @hbw.

Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding notifications. I'm sorry to know about the inconvenience.

When you are in 'Notifications' on your dashboard, you'll see a list of different notifications and at the right side of the screen the option to turn them on or off. At the bottom of the screen, you'll see the options save or cancel.

If you prefer to set them on or off, I'd ask you visit this article: How do I turn my Fitbit device’s notification setting on or off?

There is nothing on this list relating to third party apps.

The only notifications that are switched on are: Low Battery, Step Goal Milestones,Exercise Goal Milestones (see screenshot, below

I've managed to solve the problem. Basically, if you click on the Device icon on the top left hand side of the phone app and select you device (Inspire 2 in my case), there is a Notifications option.

Why there are multiple Notifications options is anyone's guess. User interfaces should be intuitive. Also, it would seem that the online guidance may not have been updated to match the recent UI revamp. <<sigh>>
