Can't sync or change goals on my Galaxy S10

Shame on me for not checking before buying the Inspire HR, but I can't believe the S10e is not a compatible device. It makes no sense to me that Fitbit wouldn't keep up with Samsung. After a wasted hour troubleshooting why I wasn't receiving texts, I moved on to setting goals. Something as seemingly easy as changing weekly exercise goals throug the app doesn't work. It just keeps reverting back to 5 days. I went as far as trying to login through the internet but couldn't easily find where to update there. Time to give up for now.

Welcome to the Community Forums @Bibbit75. Thanks for sharing your feedback about what you're experiencing with your new Fitbit Inspire HR.

Sorry you feel that way about the current list of compatible devices. Our team is working hard to add as many devices as they can, so if you don't see your device on the list check back soon. You can add your vote and comments about having this option in the future: Galaxy S10/S10+/S10E Compatibility.

Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot your Fitbit notifications. Other users have reported good results by following these steps:

Requirements:

  • For Android phones: to help improve the delivery, go to Notifications and make sure Enable Notification Widget is on.
  • Phone and Fitbit app should be up to date
  • Make sure the Do Not Disturb setting on your mobile device is turned off because it prevents the device from sending notifications to your device.
  • Check your phone Permissions and leave location on to keep syncing with your phone, for more info check those suggestions from @ErickFitbit

1. Disconnect ("unpair") your device in your mobile device's Bluetooth settings. The instructions differ by device, but in most cases: Tap Settings > Bluetooth and find your tracker in the list of paired devices.
2. Open the Fitbit app under Account (upper right corner), Tap Forget or Forget Device to unpair your device.
3. Reboot your mobile device.
4. In the Fitbit app under Account (upper right corner), tap Notifications > turn on the notifications you want to receive.

In regards to the your Exercise Goals, I think that you can force quit the Fitbit app and try to change them again. Open the Fitbit app > tap on the exercise tile > tap on the gear icon (upper right corner) > Weekly Exercise Goals > Pick a number > Tap on Save.

I'd like to mention that even thought your mobile device is not a supported device the Exercise tile should be working to set your goals. Please note, this option is not available on the Fitbit.com Dashboard. And if you keep having issues with this feature on the Fitbit app, please let me know.

I'll be around.
