Does anyone wear their FB in the ocean. I wear it for pool swimming and it is fine, but it has now broken down after a quick snorkel in fairly shallow water . . . Thoughts?? Experiences???

@Pennyfeather11 Hi there.
Inspire is water-resistant to 50 meters. Water resistance may diminish over time and can be negatively impacted by any of the following:
I spoke to the Support team and they informed me you are already in contact with them about this.
Have a nice day.

Thoughts? This 50 meter rating is all about pressure not depth. Many factors in the water can subject the tracker to higher pressure ratings.
So what does this mean? According to watchtime.com:
A water-resistance level of 30 meters means the watch can withstand splashes of water. ... A level of 50 meters means that it can be worn for swimming in shallow depths. A level of 100 meters means it can be worn snorkeling and a level of 200 meters or more means it can be worn scuba diving.

I wore mine for an hour of surfing. So no significant depth, no significant impact, no visible damage. Rinsed with fresh water afterwards and noticed the green light was bright and not flickering like normal. Battery drained in 2 hours. Now the battery life is about 6 hours. I had worn it lots in the pool swimming as well, I suspect something about the salt water fries it. Bummer.
