Can you have 2 fitbits - and swap them in and out ?

I have an Inspire HR -- but might want to get an Iconic or Versa for more daily wear... but then swap out to the Inspire HR for doing workouts, as it's smaller and lighter.

Is this possible? -- Can you say start the day in one fitbit, change to another for a workout, then change back for the remainder of the day and the tracking app not get confused, or "once you start with one device you're locked in" ?

"Note that you can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit App Gallery to one account. For Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Inspire series, and Fitbit Versa series, only connect one of these devices to your account at a time."

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
