I just got my fitbit inspire hr today, so I took my charge off the account, when I tried to add the inspire, I get as far as the "tell us about yourself" & it just keeps spinning and won't connect. I can't even put my old charge back on, I have windows 10 & I use a dongle. Even though my charge is disconnected the band is still recording my steps Please help!

Hi @SunsetRunner, nice to see you. Thanks for reaching out the Forums.
Congrats on your new Inspire HR! Thanks for the steps that you've tried to set up your new device. It's odd, that it is not connecting and keeps spinning when asking your information. Would you mind trying to restart your Inspire HR? And try to finish the set up process with these steps: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
When you mention a dongle, are you talking about an Fitbit Wireless dongle or Bluetooth adapter USB dongle?
I'd like to clarify that your Fitbit Charge will keep trying to track steps and it will probable keep showing an estimated amount of steps since it got that information when it was paired to your account. You can try a factory reset to wipe out the information.
Hope this helps, I'll be around.

When I was trying to pair my inspire hr, I came across this when I went into my FitBit station under my devices-Plug into a 2.0 port, Cannot work properly with usb 3.0. What does this
mean? I haven't changed anything on my computer in the 5 years I've been a fitbit user. I finally was able to get my old fitbit set up again, not even going to try with the inspire hr right now. Just glad I'm connected again.

I just purchased a new Fitbit Inspire HR and tried to set it up. I had a previous Fitbit so when I filled in my name, phone no, email and password, I received a message that that email was already taken. That is my email so I would like to use it. How can I set up my new Fitbit?

@GailSN that sounds like you are trying to set up a new fitbit account. There's no need to do that. Instead, logon to the app using your old ID and password and go into the account section. There you can choose to "set up a device" and add the Inspire HR to your account.
If you'd rather start again with your new fitbit and remove all your old data, settings, badges etc then you could set up a new account but, as you have found, you will need to use a different email. It is possible to get fitbit to remove your account so you could reuse your email but this could take weeks.

Hi just bought Fitbit Inspire yesterday. Tried to add it to my account as I have a Versa so that I can use them both at different times during the day.
It it only allows me to switch Fitbit. So if I say yes it take the Versa off the account. If I want to use the Versa it takes the inspire HR off the account. So I can’t have both.
Please help.

@asadj although fitbit supports multiple trackers on an account, there are some restrictions. Fitbit say:
"Note that you can't have Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Inspire series, and Fitbit Versa series connected to the same account. If you have any combination of these devices, be sure to have only one connected to your account at a time."

Unfortunately, that means you will not be able to connect both your trackers.

Why does my new Fitbit Inspire HR not be recognised on my account?

Hi. Do you have a second Fitbit on the account? If yes you need to switch to Fitbit Inspire HR cos it cannot coexist with certain other fitbits ( there’s a list).
Before you switch make sure you sync the one you’re switching from.
If you don’t have another Fitbit then someone else take over this please.
