Cannot turn off the green light when Heart rate is turned off

Even when I turned off the heart rate in the setting, the green light cannot go off. 

it worked with Altra and Charge 2. 
why is it not working in Inspire HR

It's not designed to turn off on the Inspire HR. It says in the manual:

 

"Note that the green LED on the back of Inspire HR continues to flash even if you
turn off heart-rate tracking"

There is speculation that as well as tracking your heart rate, the light is also used to work out whether or not you are wearing the fitbit.
