Is there a way to change the date format on the clock face? I was able to change my Charge 2 to display it as day/month, rather than the USA format of month/day, but can´t work out how to do it on this one.

Hi Essie
No mine is a Versa 2, I posted in the wrong group and couldnt delete.
I believe you need a full screen for the bitmoji face to work.
I have found other faces that have setting within the face that you can customise.
Sorry

I agree totally. No one is listening or cares or both.
This request is over 2 years old. I am not sure FITBIT realise most of the world doesn't live in America and don's use MONTH DAY YEAR format.
Instead most of the world use the International Date format of DAY MONTH YEAR.

I was having issues with MM/DD on Fitbit Inspire too and stopped using it for months, so when I dug it out for 2021 I was hoping it would have sorted itself out. I've changed manually changed time to GMT (country location was already set as UK), and there's no option on clocks to change the date format to DD/MM. It didn't used to be like that, so I'd love to know what changed and how to change it back. Does anyone have a clue how to actually do it?

Hi Andrea thank you for letting me know so I don't waste more time trying to find a solution! That's a shame, as it used to be DD/MM and changed to MM/DD one day. I'll keep the Alta HR in mind if I ever get a new FitBit 🙂

I found that changing your location from App Settings helps, but only if you pick one that uses a language that is not English.
My country is Finland, but since there is no language support for Finnish, the default language is English (which gives MM/DD). So, I tried Australia, Belgium (English), Canada, Europe, Indonesia (English), Ireland, Malaysia (English), Nederland (Engels), New Zealand, Singapore and UK and it seems there is only one English setting that is US. I don't believe this is a hard thing to fix in the code. Duplicate the English settings, rename and tweak the date format and then apply this setting to everything else English than US. I just wish this is brought to the attention of someone who can do the programming.

I agree entirely. We're now YEARS into this being highlighted and still nothing has been done to implement a simple localisation fix. The UK does not use US Date format...almost nobody does! 🤦🏻:male_sign:
That's my Fitbit Premium cancelled and me not buying another Fitbit device. I've simply had enough of the arrogance of Americana.

A pity no one of significance at Fitbit / Google reads this. Just unbelievable such a small things cannot be addressed. Too USA / North american centric.Maybe someone from Fitbit could communicate with us they are at least reading this.

I switched it to Nederland (Engels) because my Dutch isn't the best, but it's still in Dutch. I guess I should learn the days of the week because it's the only way I could get it to work.

"a country that uses international format" would be every country except the US.
Whereas it seems that the setting is merely reading the language and only changing when it's not "English".
Countries who use English and DD/MM include:
England (the home of the English language, hence the name)
In fact the entire United Kingdom
Canada
Australia
New Zealand
Almost everywhere else on the planet except for the United States
This needs to be fixed, urgently!

I just bought a Charge 4 (it was time to upgrade from a 2 and the 4 was on a big special; I didn't need the extra features of the new 5). It's really sad to see this is still an issue nearly three years later! I am in Australia and briefly changed my location to Canada with French language, which fixed the date format but of course put everything else in French; this was more annoying than the date problem so I am back home again.
In the overall scheme of things this is a minor annoyance, but an annoyance all the same.

I've just got a charge 5, and 3 years later this is still an issue. This is my first fitbit and the American date annoys me, litterally the only country in the world that uses English that reads the date in this way. How have fitbit not even fixed this issue is beyond belief when it's years old. I won't be purchasing another one ever if they don't fix it.

This issue is so stupid the whole world doesn’t use this stupid MM/DD format in fact there is only five countries use this system including USA and Canada of course!! I hope Fitbit will get off their arse and fix this issue which has existed for many years now!

Just bought a charge 5. Had to change my clock face entirely just to get the date format to display properly. What a disgrace that this still doesn't seem to be fixed.
