Changing wrist to clip option

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

In the user manual it says you can choose the option of clip for the fit-bit inspire but all I can find is the changing wrist option from dominant to non dominant.  Where is the clip option?

@SunsetRunner Do you have an Inspire, or Inspire HR?

Yes it depends on the model you have.

@Tigergal76   @Razzec   Here is how you change from the wrist to clip.  Press and hold the button for about two seconds.  This gets you to the Quick Settings.  The Quick Settings show your battery level, screen wake settings, notifications on/off AND your wrist/clip setting.  A light press of the button will get you back to your clock face.

It looks like now if you hold down the button on the Fitbit inspire until
you get the battery life, you can wipe up until you see on wrist and tap to
change it to on clip.

At the time of my original post, it was not included in those options. It
looks like the last update they just pushed out had that update in it and
I've already been able to use it on a few occasions. Thanks.

@Razzec, I had the same issue, too... the quick options on my Inspire were there until about a week ago, disappeared for some reason, then with the last update they came back. I think some intern at Fitbit might have accidentally deleted them. 😉

I received the Inspire HR for Christmas and absolutely cannot find the area to switch from wrist band to clip.  I've tried everything...holding down the button for two seconds shows battery life, screen and notifications only.

I read before I got my Inspire that the HR doesn't work with the clip, only the Inspire.

If you hold down the button until you can see the power option, swipe up
until you can see the wrist option. Then just tap to change and click the
button again.

If you can't find that option, make sure you have your Fitbit updated to
the latest firmware.
