Charge HR logged 60,000 steps while asleep

Last night my charge HR logged over 60000 steps while I was asleep, all within a 15 minute or less time period. This occured several hours into sleep, and I have never had this occur before. It also did not autorecord any exercises so I don't think it thought I was walking. I wear it on my dominant hand but have never had anything like this occur.

I am really confused and have also now accidentally 'earned' the Blue Suede Shoes badge.

Any idea how this happened or how I can delete those steps?

Hi @Deciduously  Which tracker do you have? The Charge HR or the Inspire HR. Ifnitis the Charge I will move your question to the correct forum.

Try restarting the tracker several times and see if it happens again. To get rid of the steps, log a driving activity during the time the steps were recorded and hopefully that will delete them.

Restart your tracker

DRIVING ACTIVITY
To log a driving activity go to your app, tap the exercise tile (running man), then the stopwatch icon in the top right corner. On the screen that comes up start to type in Driving and when the list drops down SELECT DRIVING from the list (very importand not to type in the whole word). Fill in the details and Log it.
