Charging my Fitbit Inspire and it went from 72% down to 29%???

I have had a fit bit for 8 years and have never had one drain off a charge while charging!!!  Help....

Hi, @Janclev  I would recommend giving the charging contacts on both the charger and the Fitbit a good clean using alcohol and a soft brush or cloth.  When they are nice and clean, put it back on the charger and plug it in to charge as normal.  While it is plugged in and charging, give it a restart.  As you have had a Fitbit for 8 years you probably know how to do this, but just in case not, you need to press and hold the “button” for a good 5 seconds without removing it from the charger.  After 5 seconds release the button.  You should see the smiley face to indicate a restart.  Then charge it up to at least 80% and hopefully all will be well.

Thank you!  I was able to stop it from draining last night and get it charged but it started draining again today so I rebooted to see if that will help.  Thank you for the suggestions!!
