Clip and Inspire/Inspire HR

I would like to wear my fitbit with a clip for daily wear. I know the HR does not have a clip setting, but is it accurate if you use it with the clip or not? Ideally, I would like to turn off the heart rate monitor for regular daily wear and wear it on the clip, but then wear it on my wrist with the HR monitor on while working out. Is this possible or do I need to pick the Inspire for the clip or if I go with the HR, wear it on my wrist all the time?

I haven't tried this, so maybe someone who has can give you more info, but here's my take:

1.  The clip that Fitbit sells for the Inspire non-HR does not fit the Inspire HR exactly.  I have read it is close but increased risk of it falling off and getting lost.  It would be worth a look to see if Amazon has third-party clips especially for the HR model.

2.  As for accuracy, the Inspire HR does have in 'Settings' a place to turn off heart rate, though it's not the same as the clip setting.  I have no experience what the accuracy difference is.  I would expect they would be close but I guess I don't really have any real basis for saying that.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
