Concept of 'meals' or 'plates' in food recording

Just a thought - as someone who cooks their own meals from scratch rather than use (much) pre-packaged stuff, is there a way to create a 'meal' or a 'plate' containing multiple ingredients to save loading time? For example 'plate' = 'chilli'. Plate of chilli in my case includes meat, beans, grated cheese and is served with a portion of rice, as a simple example. My breakfast cereal is constructed out of low sugar granola, jumbo oats, nuts, seeds, 2 types of fruit, milk and a shot of maple syrup (OK, sinful...), but why do I have to include all the ingredients each time? Is there a way to create 'cereal' incorporating all those ingredients so I have only 1 item to enter?

@Allington , Nice to see you around. Thank you for reaching out.

At this time it's not possible to add self cooked meals with the exact amount of ingredients.  You could log each one of those, but I don't really think that that is what you need/wish.

I found this feature suggestion. Able to create your own recipes and indicate number of servings

Have a look at it, and if you want to support it, leave your comment and vote

Hi there
OK, that is similar and commenters have made the same suggestion as me. That said, I see it has been open for some 9 years, which doesn't suggest much is going to be done about it. I fear I will be looking for another tracker if I want to take meal logging seriously.

As a further update, I see that there is a capability to create 'meals' in the online app, though not apparently in the Android app. That is a big help and saves a lot of time for things I eat regularly.
