When recording excercise through the app for walks, the mileage number on the map image & the header stats have never been exactly the same, but historically the variation was minor. Suddenly this week, they are registering as almost a mile apart. The map image mileage is more accurate (I confirmed via car odometer redriving my route), but the stats for pace are drawn from the header, which is inaccurate. I've reset all the seemingly applicable setting on my phone's network, GPS, etc...so it seems to be inherent to the FitBit or FitBit app. I wish it would let me posted a screenshot.

@Lesley_Cincy I hope you're doing well! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your GPS data not showing correctly on your Fitbit app and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Start by logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. Also make sure the app is up to date. If you are using an Android device the try clearing the apps cache data by going to Settings > apps > Fitbit.
If you wish to add a picture you can use a web browser like Firefox or Chrome and once you are typing your post you can click the camera icon to add the picture.
Let me know how it goes.

I had removed my phone, cleared app caches, and reset several related settings. My app was current at the time of the error.
Since submitting this post, Android did an OS update, followed by Fitbit updating it's app accordingly.
Now there is only one place distance is noted (so no visible conflict). Also distances are more consistent and accurate. Back in track and happy with my results.
Thanks for the feedback.
