I purchased an Inspire HR about a week ago and now I am getting a "connected gps is running" message on my phone via the app which is draining my battery.
Any ideas how to fix this?

It sounds like you have accidentally started an exercise in your Inspire HR. Give the button a short press. If you see a sideways triangle, give it another press to finish the activity!
If your Inspire HR is not showing any current activity running and your app is telling you that there is a connected GPS activity running, I would suggest logging out of the app to terminate the activity, and then logging back in again. When you log back in again be sure to select "log in" and NOT "join Fitbit" and be sure to use the same email and password you used to set up your account.
