Constantly disconnecting gps when hiking

I've noticed anytime I'm tracking a hiking exercise it buzzes off and on the whole time (losing connectivity, I'm guessing) and not tracking the route properly by gps. My boyfriend is with me and has a charge 3 and doesn't have this issue!

Let me help you tracking your GPS activity. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleLets try refreshing the link between your tracker and your phone by doing the following:

 

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
