Constantly flashing to notification which drained battery and now can't charge

Hi

 

My Inspire seemed to have a glitch recently that meant it couldn't switch off when not in use. It kept flicking onto notifications without button being pushed. This drained the battery really quickly. Initially it charged again fine but had the same issue and went dead really quick. The next time I tried to charge it I couldn't. Now it just doesn't seem to charge. 

 

Its only about 6 months old. Anyone know what I can do?
