Dashboard doesn't update with cycling distance

I am able to record my cycling activities with my Inspire HR and mobile's GPS. I can see all details including map and distance within the 'Exercise' section.

 

However the distance captured is not being included in my daily stats on the Dashboard - why?? It updates with the active minutes from the activity, but not distance

Hello @Sairey84 and welcome to the Help forum.  Fitbit's daily (and lifetime) distance has always been from one-foot-in-front-of-the-other step based activities.  It has never included biking or swimming.

Hello @Sairey84 and welcome to the Help forum.  Fitbit's daily (and lifetime) distance has always been from one-foot-in-front-of-the-other step based activities.  It has never included biking or swimming.
