Daylight savings time with Inspire 2

Since the time change this morning, I can’t set the hours for tracking my steps. It keeps going back to an hour ahead of what it was initially set at. How can I fix this?

FitBit needs to fix the alarm on Inspire2 for daylight savings time. My watch updated to the correct time but my 6:45 am alarm I set on my phone app, went off at 7:45am. Good thing I heard my daughter get up otherwise I’d have woken up an hour late. I found a post from March 2017 for the same problem. In order to be woken up at 6:45 this morning I’d have to set my alarm for 5:45 am

By being patient and figuring it will work out right by tomorrow.  That's all you can.  Always issues for a day with time change.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi there, @PWILL and @Pnut1. Welcome to the Community Forums. @JohnnyRow Thanks for the piece of advice.

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us. Please sync your Inspire 2. If by any chance you are running into syncing issues, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Also, note that the time on your Fitbit Inspire 2 may be wrong after you travel to a different time zone or when clocks change for Daylight Savings. If you changed time zones and the time on your Inspire 2 is still incorrect after syncing, make sure the time zone setting is correct. For more information, see How do I fix the time on my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.

I synced my FitBit when I woke up at 2:30 am hoping that would work. Nope - it has the correct time on the display but the 6:45 alarm went off at 5:45..

My hourly step count is off and I can’t reset the time either 😕 span of hours to be tracked.

I hope so. My chosen hours to get at least 250 steps has changed and it won’t let me reset. Plus, the step check is off by an hour even though my Fitbit shows the accurate time. I’ve synced, I’ve restarted, I shut off my phone and restarted, I’ve changed time zones, nothing helps. So I’ll give it a day. Thanks.

I’ve done all the same plus logged in online and did it all again per Chat Support. Nothing has worked so far🤞🏻 Hopefully soon because I really count on that hourly tracker!
