I wonder if they will let me post this because there are a number of answers to this question. I am traveling with my fitbit for the first time, and it will not sync with the correct time. This is my fourth fit bit. Never ONCE ran into this weird issue traveling.
I rebooted it. did not work
I restarted it. nope
I set the time zone to the correct time zone on my fitbit dashboard on fitbot.com. nope
checked to see that my phone is set to automatically updating the time. it is
checked to see that time zone is set to "set automatically" in the fitbit app, and it is, but it still says Im in NY. So, I turned that off and then when I turned it on, it recognized I was in a new time zone.
Annoying! Hopefully that's a glitch bc I am really fed up with weird issues!
