Distance shows in workouts but not on the main dashboard?

I went for a run today and did 4km, which shows in my workouts. But when I go to the dashboard it shows that today I’ve done 1.49km which is not correct. The steps also seem off, as I saw that I did about 4000 when I finished my run but now they’re showing as 2000 for the day. This is just an example but it has been happening for the past few weeks in a few occasions.

I do the work out with the gps on and it tracks the route and shows it on the map correctly.

Can someone help please?

Thanks!

@Patty32 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your recorded activities showing the incorrect distance and steps. Start by troubleshooting the app so log out from it, restart your phone and log back in. You can also refresh the link between your phone and your app by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.
  6. Finally make sure that the app is up to date.

Let me know how it goes.
