Drinking with my Inspire 2 throws off zone minutes

Does anyone else have this problem. I don't drink much, but I noticed when I do drink even one drink it spikes my heartrate which then send my heart rate up. Fitbit thought I was constantly working out and burned 1000 calories in three hours last night. I wanted to keep it on because I was walking more, and with a bunch of guys that moved faster then me so some of it was legit. Plus this then puts my week over week comparision way out of whack and I can't tell if I am hitting my workout goals.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @libs021.

Thank you for the information provided.

Several factors can affect resting heart rate: stress, alcohol or caffeine intake, or fever usually raise resting heart rate, while regular exercise or meditation can lower it. Air temperature and certain medications can also affect resting heart rate.

If you want to delete the extra Active Zone Minutes from your Fitbit account, please visit this article, open the menu "How do I delete Active Zone Minutes in the Fitbit app?" and follow the instructions.

In the Feature Suggestions board there is a suggestion called "Log influence of alcohol/medication/cannabis on Health Metrics". You are welcome to vote it and if there is any change it should be communicated as soon as possible.

Have a nice day.
