Email from Apple not showing up on Apps Notifications list

I am using an iphone XR and a fitbit Inspire HR. The Mail app doesn't even show up on my list of apps. I have allow notifications in my settings, but as previously stated, I don't have the option to select mail notifications in my app notifications. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
