Extreme battery drain

Out of nowhere, after about 18 months of regular use (and care/cleaning/careful to charge to 100% every few weeks) I am now experiencing impossibly rapid battery loss and "freezes" on my inspire HR.

I have reset it several times, it will say it has 1% battery, put on charger, reset, 100% battery back in a minute. Put back on wrist and it's at 80% in 10 minutes. Or I'll wear it for an hour and it will freeze in time.

I want to blame Android update, but that can't be it right?

You should get it replaced for free if it is less than 2 years old.

LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY FOR NEW PRODUCTS

Fitbit warrants to the original purchaser that your Fitbit-branded device and accessories that are new (the "New Product(s)") shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, except that if you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA) and you purchased your Fitbit product in the EEA, the warranty period is two (2) years from the date of purchase (the "New Product Warranty Period").

Yep. Bought an inspire 2. Hoping for the best. Love having the data +
accountability and honestly can't expect something to last forever 🤷🏼
possibly a bunk battery, but I gotta say I like this model WAY better
anyway.

Mine is 15 months old. They told me it is out of warranty. I am reluctant
to replace it (with another Fitbit product) since this one died so quickly.

My thoughts exactly! Something that cost over $100 should definitely last longer. I am thinking about an Apple watch, or some other brand of tracking device.
