Fat burn minutes on inspire 2 vs Inspire HR

I changed from an Inspire HR to an Inspire 2 last Wednesday. On the inspire HR my fat burn minutes were between 7 and 11 hours a day and registered as fat burn minutes once my bpm was >80bpm. On the Inspire 2 my fat burn minutes only register when my bpm hits 106bpm and even though my daily routine and activity hasn’t changed since switching fitbits my exercise zone minutes are only around an hour a day. Is there something  I should be doing in settings or is it automatically set once my date of birth and weight are entered correctly. Thanks.

It was a change to devices a few years ago, but now just arises when someone switches from an older device such as Inspire HR which did not get the changes.  There is nothing for you to do in set up.  If tap Zone minutes circle in phone app, can see your new zone.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Long complicated answer I won't go into depth on, having tried to answer this too many times already, no offense to you, just to Fitbit for not have a central clear explanation.  With newer devices, Fitbit changed from Active Minutes to Zone Minutes, and also changed calculation of the heart rate zones, generally making them harder to achieve but lowering the goals on them.

See How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device?  and scroll down to 'What are heart rate zones?'

and What are Active Zone Minutes or active minutes on my Fitbit device?

Thanks for your reply. Had a look at the forums before posting my question but couldn’t find similar scenario. Am more pleased to see that just walking around the kitchen not registering as fat burn minutes any more but was wondering  if I should have done something with my settings when setting up new device.
