Not sure if I am more upset that every time I move my wrist my Fitbit buzzes and asks about water lock OR that I called customer service and he had the audacity to pretend like he had no idea what I was talking about. There are pages of complaints on their very own website about it. Pretending it isn’t a problem doesn’t make it go away, it just costs them customers. There are a lot of trackers out there now and I think Fitbit is overestimating the loyalty they once enjoyed from their customers because this is unacceptable!

Hi there, @JM5721. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with our Inspire 2. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products into consideration.
To turn off water lock, firmly double-tap the middle of the screen with your finger. If you don't see "Unlocked" appear on screen, try tapping harder. Turning off this feature uses the accelerometer in your device, which takes more force to activate.
Hope this helps.

Thank you but that does not help at all. I have the water lock unlocked, that is not the problem. The problem is that it is too sensitive. Every time I bend my wrist it vibrates and asks me if I want water lock. I have slightly reduced the amount of times it happens in a day by wearing my Fitbit further up my arm so that it doesn’t engage the water lock just by bending my wrist and having the split second of skin contact on both sides of it make it ask me about water lock. I shouldn’t have to do that. Hopefully they can send out a patch where it makes you hold both sides of the screen for say 3 seconds before it asks about water lock so I am not constantly being tortured by my Fitbit vibrating for no reason.
