Hi,

My Aspire Hr fitbit is not powering ON, observed smiley once but not coming again.

Kept charging for more than an hour, but no luck.

Please let me know what are diagnostic steps to proceed further.

Hi, @DSR1986 , give it a good two hours charge, preferably using a wall charger, and then try the restart procedure again.

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Hold the other end of the charging cable near the port on the back of the tracker until it attaches magnetically. The pins on the charging cable must connect securely with the port.
  3. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 5 seconds.
  4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

As you see the official advice is to hold the button for 5 seconds.  However, as your Fitbit seems to have become unresponsive, you may need to hold the button for considerably longer - maybe 20-30 seconds.  This often solves the issue you are having.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

Hi,
I kept it for 2hrs charging and tried the same steps multiple times.

After holding 8sec, smiley will come and go, then vibrates some times.
Then 001 error will be displayed.

Again followed the same steps and same behaviour observed.
