Somehow my Fitbit went into some sort of exercise mode. I can pause it, but can't stop it. Now all I can see are stats about some random exercise I am not really doing and can't get back to the main screen where it tracks steps,250 steps per our, etc. No matter what I try, I can't get out of this mode. What is the secret to getting back to normal?
Thanks!

A previous response to my post solved my problem: "i just found where you go to the screen on the fitbit where it has the pause button. click the side button once & it will say finish. tap the finish on the screen & it will stop & go back to normal." I hope it helps you.

I am presently experiencing a similar issue. I was trying out the tracker and started it, but cannot figure out how to stop it. On my old charge to you simply push the button again. No matter where you were in the app.

My Inspire HR is consistently going into some random exercise and sometimes is difficult to stop (I know how). I scrolls through various screens of its own accord and is killing the battery life. I restarted it a few days ago but that made no difference and this morning I can't restart. I will log a call unless one of you can advise me?

The problem is my Fitbit is being so sensitive that I press the side button to give me 'pause' and sometimes it starts off again before I can press it the second time to get 'finish'.

Very poorly designed software. The whole user-interface needs redesigning. For such an expensive fitness smartwatch, I'm NOT impressed. I've owned cheap Chinese smartwatches that had a better designed user-interface. Fitbit needs to invest in getting the screen menus to be easier to use and, crucially, to get the data -- heart rate or whatever -- displayed in a size we can actually read, instead of taking up most of the screen with meaningless graphics. I'm not impressed.

But when I click on the side button again it goes to battery mode, I click it again and it goes back to Pause, another click - battery and on and on. Please fix this!

The whole thing just, totally randomly, decides what it wants to do. Extremely badly designed software. Total Rubbish.
