Fitbit HR Inspire's battery has suddenly dropped tp a 24 hour charging cycle

I bought my Fitbit HR inspire in Dec 2019, and since then, I'd been using it nonstop, and it had always stayed charged for 5-6 days. A few weeks ago, it started charging for only 1 day before the battery went flat. I had not changed ANY settings or added new notifications since Dec 2019 so it's strange that in June 2020, the battery starting acting up. The only thing that I did different was that I signed up for a free 3-month Premium account which ended in June.

Please help! 🙏🏼 It really isn't sustainable to charge my Fitbit every single day.

Reach out to customer support. Their phone number is (877)623-4997 between the hours of 4am-8pm PST Mon-Fri, and 6am-5pm PST on weekends, if you're in the USA. The phone number to call from the UK is: 0800 069 8505. Operation hours: 9:00am - 6:00pm. If you're not in the USA or if you prefer an online chat or email, then click for contact options

Similar thing has happened to my Alta  HR.  The battery only stays charged for 2 hours now!  None of these devices have replaceable batteries, instead, if you're "lucky" they will offer you a discount to buy a different device that also has band and battery issues.  They do not deserve any more of my dollars.  Too bad they are not more reliable.  During my 2-battery operating window  yesterday it was counting every onion chop as a step!

Don't bother with phone support.  Best thing is live chat.  You will wait awhile till your turn and then they are juggling a few chats at a time  (I actually got part of another person's chat regarding their dead lite model), but it has worked well for me, even without getting a favorable outcome (except a discount to models of "their" choosing, probably refurbished or on their way to obsolescence).
