Fitbit Inspire 2 - a few questions

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Walking

  • For walking, would I have to pause when I get to a location & resume when I leave to walk again?

  • Are the "Exercise Shortcuts" on device the same as "Track Exercise" in app? (like if I wanted to walk, would it make a difference whichever one I start?)

Sleeping

  • Can sleep mode be automatically turned on when it notices I'm sleeping? (so the display dims & doesn't turn on with the wrist gesture)

  • Shouldn't it automatically disable the touchscreen when in Sleep Mode? I was considering using Water Lock overnight so the screen doesn't light up, but it's hard to come out of it again.

Hello @gorakwedi

Walking:

You don’t need to pause your walk when you get to your desired location unless your tracking the steps to your location and back to your starting point as an exercise. Otherwise you can just allow your Inspire 2  to naturally count your walking steps and see at a total of steps taken after you sync your Fitbit.

Yes, the exercise shortcuts can be modified and will display on your exercise app on your Inspire 2. To see how to change your shortcuts look at the YouTube video I provided here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tvCx8QyPOBE

Sleeping:

Sleep mode is only activated by you. You can sleep mode settings, including setting a schedule for the mode to automatically turn on and off.
To set a schedule:

1. Open the settings on your Inspire 2 and Tap Sleep Mode.
2. Tap schedule to turn it on

3. Tap Sleep Interval and set your sleep mode schedule. (Sleep mode automatically turns off at the time you schedule, even if you manually turned it on.

When the sleep mode setting is on notifications and reminders are muted, the screen brightness is set to dim and the screen stays dark when you turn your wrist.

Here is the full Inspire 2 manual that I think you will find useful: https://help.fitbit.com/manuals/manual_inspire_2_en_US.pdf

😃I hope this provides you with the best answers to your multiple questions. Please let me know
