Fitbit Inspire 2 pulses and screen turns on and off

My Fitbit Inspire 2 turned off in the middle of the night so I initially thought it needed to be charged. When connected to the charger, it pulses and the screen turns on then off, on then off, over and over. It's like the side buttons are repeatedly being pushed. The watch won't stay on if not connected to the charger even though it is 100% charged. It was working fine when I went to bed and doing this in the morning when I woke up. What can be done to fix it? I can't reboot because its like the buttons are already being pressed over and over. 😫

Thank you for sharing that you've having this inconvenience with your Inspire 2 device and that you already tried a few troubleshooting steps.

If you you continue to experience the same problem, please try these steps that have been useful for other users experiencing something similar:

  1. Complete the restart procedure.
  2. Please follow these steps in case you're having trouble to charge your device.
  3. Please sync your device in the Fitbit app by tapping your profile picture > Inspire 2 > Sync Now.
  4. If you  can't sync, tap on your profile picture > Charge 5 > Tap to see if a firmware banner appears.
  5. If it's still unresponsive, please try changing the clock face as well and check if you're able to see anything on the display.

Hope this helps, I'll be around.

I am not able to do any of those steps as the buttons on the device are not responsive and the screen turns on and off over and over. Restarting hasn't fixed it. I ended up buying a new Fitbit.

For anyone seeing this is the future, I had the same issue as above and found that plugging the Fitbit into a higher powered USB charger and then holding the buttons fixed it.
