Hello @susantutu

Sorry to see you're having problems with your Inspire 2.

The first troubleshooting step to try is to restart your Fitbit.

If Inspire 2 is unresponsive:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  3. Press and hold the buttons on your tracker for 10 seconds.
  4. Release the buttons. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

Thank you I have done this numerous times. Still nothing. It is "alive:
since the green lights on the back flicker. I have tried plugging into to
a 110 outlet, a different USB. Still nothing.

Thank you for your input.

I'm having the same problem and nothing seems to fix it 😕 It was fine until 2 days ago. Not only is it not syncing, but the screen is hard to read, very dim, not brightness at all. Very frustrating for me!!

This sounds like a similar problem that the Charge 5 is having (go to that community if you can handle a scare.)  I am going to be very disappointed if the same update that crashed my 5 also crashes my 2.  I charges my 2 this morning and notice that the charge seems to be running down very quickly.

I am having the same issue today, yesterday it worked fine. Screen and side buttons are non responsive. I tried restarting it by following the steps above and nothing happened. It seems to be syncing to my app and charging fine, but the screen and buttons are frozen. Please help!!

Same here- plus the green light is gone and although the battery is charged and current battery level is showing when I sync with the app, none of my steps or zone minutes are syncing. Very frustrating and disappointing!

Good to see you around the community everyone.

Welcome to the forums @Actingbug27 @ingesmit

Thanks to all for sharing the inquiry regarding the situation with your trackers.

I've been informed that some of you already contacted the Customer Support team for further assistance with this. In this case, they will let you know how to proceed.

If this is related to the battery, please make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

If the device is charging, but the screen is completely black, make sure that you've also completed the restart procedure as suggested by @RiekoC.

Please, change the clock face following these steps:

  • From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture then Inspire 2 tile.
  • Tap Gallery then Clocks tab.
  • Browse the available clock faces. Tap a clock face to see a detailed view.
  • Tap Install to add the clock face to Inspire 2.
