As per the title, my Fitbit Inspire HR has stopped counting steps since I updated the firmware today at 3pm? All hourly activities have stopped at 3pm which is when the Fitbit app asked me to do the update.
I have an iPhone 7 on iOS version 13.3.
I have tried turning my Fitbit off and then on (by holding the button until I get the smiley face) and also tried turning Bluetooth off and then back on, on my iPhone but the issue still remains.
Has anybody actually tested this firmware to see if it works because my Fitbit is now not recording anything since today’s firmware update ........???

@SunsetRunner Here is an easy fix
charge your Fitbit and hold the side button while charging
restart your phone by powering it off and on ( you can do this with assistive Touch )
Go to the Fitbit app
tap on your profile on the top left
go to your Fitbit IHR (inspire hr)
you will see an “update tracker” click on it
make sure your at least 1 meter away
your good to go now! If it says it needs charging, don’t panic, just wait until 100%, shouldn’t take H.F.

.......sorry but them instructions clearly do not work. Clicking my profile pic in the app and then going to my Fitbit IHR does NOT show ‘Update Tracker’??? Probably because I ALREADY updated my Fitbit yesterday.....
Have to say that the latest firmware has NOT been tested properly as it clearly is not working properly.
Today I went for an outdoor run and my Fitbit IHR did NOT map my run - and YES, all the relevant GPS settings are turned on on my device and my iPhone (just double checked and also checked against the Fitbit guidelines - everything is turned on).
I also went for a run on Tuesday and it DID map my run so it is clear this latest firmware has a ton of bugs......
NOT IMPRESSED.

Also want to add - when looking at the ‘Goals’ section in the Fitbit app, under ‘Exercise’ and then ‘Run’, it states : GPS WILL NOT BE TURNED ON.
Is this supposed to show or is it meant to be ON (there are no options to turn this on anywhere)?
All my GPS options on the device and iPhone are turned on as are Location Services as well.
I tried logging out of the Fitbit app and removing it from multitasking and then also rebooted by Fitbit IHR and turned off Bluetooth and then turned it all back on, logged back into the app but the message above STILL shows?
Is this why my Fitbit is not mapping my run? As I said before, without me having changed anything, by Fitbit DID map my run on Tuesday but since the firmware update, it has not mapped them......?
