Fitbit Inspire HR Heart rate

I received the unit yesterday.  Since I have switched it on the green light at the back is working fine but the heart rate is always greyed out.  Heart rate in settings = ON. I have tried resetting the unit; I have deleted all the user data, but the problem persists.  Software on the unit is OS34.20001.88.11.

Just to avoid confusions, the grayed out heart rate is on the Inspire HR or the Fitbit app?

Could you attach a picture of this on your reply?
