Hello, I am new to the fitbit world - i have recently bought the Inspire HR. i have connected it and everything is working fine. I have only had this device and a fitbit account for 24hrs but i have just checked my calories burnt from 'Last week' and it is saying i burned over 13,000 calories???? I wore it to bed last night and i woke up and i had burned over 700 calories???
Now im not sure if this is me doing something wrong, but surely this isnt right?

As well as tracking calories burned through activity your fitbit also tracks your BMR calories. These are the calories you burn just keeping your body alive (even when asleep). They are calculated from your profile settings for age, height, weight etc so you needn't be wearing your fitbit to get them. What you are seeing includes the total BMR calories burned since midnight

No, I'm afraid not. It seems to be geared up for those people using fitbit to manage their weight. For those, it's essential that the BMR calories are included in the total.
