Fitbit Inspire HR and swim tracking stats

I am considering getting a Fitbit Inspire HR mostly (if not only) for swimming.

(I know Ionic and Versa display more stats but they are also more expensive, and honestly, for that price mark I would probably just go for an Apple Watch.)

I have a few questions regarding the Fitbit Inspire HR:

1. While swimming, the only stats displayed by the Fitbit Inspire HR is the duration of the exercise correct?

2. After swimming, the Fitbit Inspire HR will send to the iPhone app the following 3 stats: swim duration, total lengths swam, total distance covered. Is this correct or am I missing something?

3. Is it possible to set a countdown timer in the Inspire HR to notify me when I'm done swimming for 30min or so?

Thanks in advance for the answers.

@ruibm Welcome to the Community. I'll be happy to clarify your questions about Fitbit Inspire HR.

1. While swimming, the only stats displayed by the Fitbit Inspire HR is the duration of the exercise correct? If you use the exercise app on your Inspire HR duration will be the only stat displayed on your tracker.

2. After swimming, the Fitbit Inspire HR will send to the iPhone app the following 3 stats: swim duration, total lengths swam, total distance covered. Is this correct or am I missing something? Yes, either if you use SmartTrack or the exercise app on your tracker, at the end it will display: swim lengths, duration, distance, and pace.

3. Is it possible to set a countdown timer in the Inspire HR to notify me when I'm done swimming for 30min or so? It's not possible to set a countdown timer when you're done swimming.

You can continue learning more about it by checking this article: How do I track my swims with my Fitbit device?

Additionally, if you would like a countdown timer in your tracker in the future, you may want to post your idea in our Feature Suggestion board, those ideas are reviewed by our team and the status will change based in Fitbit's plans.

I'll be around if you have any additional question.
