Fitbit Inspire HR does no longer sync with the app, or pc.

My Fitbit Inspire HR does no longer pair and sync with the app on my phone or my laptop. I have tried everything, setting up a new device, letting the app fix itself, but nothing works. It's the second time this happens, last time I got it working again with resetting the tracker and connecting it to the app, but when I do that I lose all the tracked information, I don't want to lose it again. The tracker is on firmware version 34.20001.60.39, my phone is running on android 8.1.0 and the laptop is running on windows 10. I hope someone can help me!

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not syncing with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which phone are you using? Is it compatible You can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

I have a Xiaomi redmi 5 plus, it's not in the supported list, but it I had no problem with the app or the Fitbit inspire HR from April till June, but since last week it started having issues, the only thing that fixes the problem is resetting de Fitbit and connecting it as new to the app/account. Any other trouble shoot does not work.

My Inspire will sync on my phone, but not my PC.  The Customer Service guy wants me to mail it back to them ... I'm not privy to doing that, so I am hoping to find a better solution.
